Welcome to the Virginia Urban Agriculture Summit website. The summit brings together more than 100 urban farmers, gardeners, foodies, ag-tivists, policy makers and government leaders for three days of networking and learning about one of agriculture’s fastest growing sectors.

We’re excited to announce that this year’s event will be held at the Founders Inn and Spa, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Virginia Beach. We believe the Founders Inn is the perfect location for this year’s event because it features: 

  1. Low room rates and free parking (Registering for this event does not include a room at the Founders Inn.)

  2. Easy to reach, located immediately off I-64

  3. Meals prepared by an award-winning chef that feature a menu sourcing the freshest meats, seafood, and seasonal fruits and vegetables from local and regional artisan providers

  4. One of the most advanced meeting and conference facilities in Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region 

  5. Numerous initiatives that reduce its environmental impact through participation in the Virginia Green Lodging program led by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Learn more.

Registration: $150 per person (REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 150 REGISTRANTS)

Two buffet lunches, two continental breakfast, a networking dinner reception, and continuous food and drink refreshments throughout much of the summit, prepared by an award-winning chef who features a menu sourcing the freshest meats, seafood, and seasonal fruits and vegetables from local and regional artisan providers

  2. Access to all presentations and exhibits Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

*Note: There is an extra $25 fee for the Chesapeake bus tour to cover the cost of tastings, tour and souvenir beer glass at Back Bay Farmhouse Brewing Company.
