Virginia State University designed and built a mobile slaughter and processing unit in 2019 to enhance local marketing opportunities, profitability and sustainability for small ruminant farmers in Virginia

We will discuss the trajectory of the MPU program and lay goals for the future. Learning from past experiences, the MPU program will look a bit different than before. We will answer questions from the public about the new trajectory, as well as ask better understand community need of the MPU to maximize impact.
