11AM: Meet at Hotel

12 – 1:30PM: Ellwood Thompson’s Local Market, where we’ll have lunch and meet with Dan Lamprecht, Ellwood’s Purchasing Director, to learn how their unique philosophy, core values and environmental pledge direct their buying decisions and how they work with local producers.

2 – 2:45PM: Tricycle Gardens - 31st Street Baptist Church Urban Farm, where Amy Wildermann, Urban Farm Manager, will give a tour and explain how through relationship-building, marketing, vision and hard work Tricycle has become a leading urban agriculture nonprofit.

3:15 - 4:30PM: Hardywood Brewery, where Bill & India Cox, Owners, Casselmonte Farm in Powhatan, VA and Hardywood’s co-founder Patrick Murtaugh will explain how Hardywood’s Gingerbread Stout has become a nationally recognized run-away success.

5:15PM: Return to Hotel
