Andrea Haubner graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in 2017 and is currently in the process of getting her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health from Eastern Tennessee State University. She grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia, but moved to Texas for four years after graduation to serve as an AmeriCorps member in an after-school program in Austin teaching students about gardening, cooking, and health. She then served as a Family and Community Health Agent there for three years. She has been with Virginia Cooperative Extension for one year.
She became an DPP Lifestyle Coach in November of 2021 and is very passionate about the program. Andrea enjoys spending time outside with her friends and family, cooking, and learning how to play the guitar. She is excited to help people learn how physical activity and healthy eating habits fit into their everyday lives.
