VSU Small Farm Outreach Program is pleased to host a workshop led by Carlos Bratton of Aerial Imaging LLC about the operation and application of unmanned aircraft for small farms. Participants will learn about the rules and regulations for operating unmanned aircraft, UAV components, and software applications. Bratton will also discuss practical ways that UAVs can be used throughout the crop cycle, including surveying and mapping; soil and field analysis, crop and livestock monitoring, and field health assessment.
