Maple Syrup: Value Added Production

This workshop is for small and new/beginning farmers who are interested in supplementing their income with value-added products. Attendees will learn how to harvest sap from various species of trees such as maple, black walnut, and more. This will be a hands-on training with experts from the Virginia Dept. of Forestry, H2O Syrup Supply Company, and Mat Cabral syrup expert.
