Venture Outdoors with Virginia Cooperative Extension
Are you a new or existing forest landowner wishing to know more about your trees from tree identification to improvement techniques within your forest? VSU Small Farm Outreach Program will host Virginia Cooperative Extension for a one-day short course on management options for forestland in Southside Virginia.
This year the focus is on Tree Identification – Where it All Begins! Additional information will introduce topics related to forest health and an update on invasive plants and insects. Attendees will participate in a short field trip after lunch.

Cost is $20 per person, $30 per couple. Deadlines are 5 weekdays prior to each session. Lunch is provided and refunds only apply with an emergency.
