Farmer / Buyer "Meet Up"

The Farmer / Buyer “Meet Up” provides an opportunty to connect growers to buyers in a networking session that can lead to sales relationships. Farmers are encouraged to bring photos of their farm, business cards, and a list of products and/or a price sheet. Wholesalers, chefs, restaurant owners, grocers, and food service directors should bring business cards as well as a list of products that they hope to source locally. There are no promises made and no contracts signed on-site; it’s a chance to open doors for future follow-up.
- Farmer/Buyer networking opportunities throughout the day.
- Round table discussion from some of the top buyers in the state, who will share what they are looking for from farmers and answer questions.
- Presentation from Rural Development and a Harmonized GAP Introduction Workshop.
