Join us in learning the basics of growing truffles in Virginia. Truffle cultivation is a very new industry in Virginia with significant potential. This workshop is for the novice grower and enthusiast alike. If you simply want to know more about the elusive, delectable and valuable fungus, join us. We will introduce you to types of edible truffles, practical truffle farming basics for this specialty crop, the potential for you and agriculture in Virginia along with the foundation science and supporting resources.
