VSU Small Farm Outreach Program will host a farm tour at Slade Farm in Surry, Virginia. Clifton Slade is a third generation farmer who focuses on intensive, organic gardening methods for crop and seed production. The farm tour will feature a look at the recently planted hemp field at the farm.
This farm tour is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and registration is required.
