Market Opportunities and Considerations (identifying potential markets and local points of sale)
Introduction to Costs, Budgeting and Recordkeeping (estimating and lowering costs, creating a budget, understanding price volatility and cash flow)
Conducting Market Research (identifying your competitors, your customers and alternative markets)
LUNCH (Vendor & Resource Fair)
AFTERNOON
Getting Your Personal Finances in Order (separating business and household finances, credit considerations)
Legal and Safety Considerations (food safety, worker regulations, pesticide training)
Risk Management (crop, farm and liability insurance)
