This workshop is free and open to the public.

Tammy Holler, Nutrient Management specialist and VSU Small Farm Outreach Agent, will present information on techniques farmers can use to improve soil health and increase crop productivity.

Topics include:

• understanding the soil on your farm using web soil survey

• soil testing and understanding a soil test

• how to use a nutrient management plan

• field preparation for spring planting, crop rotation.
