This workshop will cover the life cycle of an egg and broiler enterprise to include breed selection; brooding new chicks; marketing; feed, water and care; free-range options; VDACS and zoning regulations pertaining to raising, processing and selling poultry; and broiler processing. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive information on all aspects of raising pastured poultry.
