Would you like to learn how to turn food scraps and yard waste into a valuable resource for your garden? The benefits of composting include improving soil health, water retention, and less reusable waste going to the landfills and creating methane gases. Join Stacy Taylor, VSU-SFOP Regional Program Assistant, and Brianna Morring, District Manager of the James River Soil and Water Conservation District, as we discuss a variety of ways to compost: including tumbler, vermicomposting, and commercial methods.
Space is limited to 30 participants
