Timber Management for Landowners

This program will highlight basic and complex strategies landowners need to manage timber. We will discuss management practices such as forest health, wildlife habitat, tree identification, thinning, harvesting and planting of trees. Representatives from Virginia Cooperative Extension, the Virginia Department of Forestry, and the private forest management industry are looking forward to giving participants information to help them manage and maintain healthy forests. Whether you have ten acres of timber or 1,000 acres, this workshop is for you!
