Blueberry Pruning

Saturday, July 8, 2023 · 9–11 am

Virginia Beach, VA

Brad Baker has cleared about 1 acre of 30–40 foot trees that had been overgrown to cover blueberry bushes planted in the mid‑1990s. He will demonstrate his pruning methods, which help to produce fruit for a U-Pick operation. The farm does not have installed irrigation and survives solely on what the weather brings. Bring your own pruners for supervised assistance.

Space is limited to 20 participants
