National Urban Agriculture Initiative Kickoff Meeting

The National Urban Agriculture Initiative Kickoff Meeting will serve as the national launch for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency’s urban agriculture pilot program, which was launched in 17 cities nationwide.
Meeting participants will engage in the following:
Work collaboratively to advance the USDA’s urban agriculture agenda.
Gain a better understanding of the needs of urban agriculture producers.
Discuss the tools and skills necessary for urban agriculture producers to successfully access and use FSA and other USDA programs and services.
Network with stakeholders from around the country.
Attend urban agriculture tours in the Atlanta, GA area.
Registration for this meeting is limited to 300 attendees who are among the following groups:
USDA FSA Urban Ag Cooperators in the 17 pilot cities
USDA Urban Ag County Committees in the 17 pilot cities
USDA urban-agriculture-related staff
Organizations that support Urban Agricultural producers.
