Virginia Chestnuts is a family owned and operated orchard with deep roots in Nelson County. Learn the basics of planning, production, processing, and marketing of Chinese chestnuts from the owner/operator of this farm. The workshop covers the last days of the harvest season of their 21 acres, and ideas about how chestnuts can function as a long-term cash crop and a mast source for livestock production.
