Using High Tunnels for Vegetable Production for the Fall & Winter

Wednesday, December 6, 2023 · 9 am–4 pm

Wedgewood Golf Center, 2131 Mountain Road Halifax, VA

With a controlled environment you can grow fresh vegetables throughout the winter months, with healthier and larger produce. Join us for a one-day tour of Southside area farms to see three farm operations that utilize high tunnels in vegetable production. Workshop participants will learn about production techniques and what crops to grow.
