Small Ruminants: Wisdom for Weaning

Small ruminant producers of all experience levels will learn about the pros and cons of early vs. late weaning, post-weaning vaccinations, deworming, and other best management practices for promoting growth and weight gain for lambs and kids. Lee Wright, Superintendent of the Southwest VA Agricultural Research and Extension Center will provide instruction and demonstration. There will be a question and answer session for problems associated with weaning and post-weaning. Dinner will be provided.

Space is limited to 50 participants.
