Waynesboro Community Garden Workshop
Monday, April 8, 2024 · 9–11 am
Waynesboro, Virginia
Community gardens are a gateway for improved nutrition, health, and enjoyment. Planning, preparation, production, and harvest issues must be coordinated for a thriving community garden. Good management practices, including using soil amendments, cover crops, crop rotation, and irrigation are vital to the success of a community garden. The Embrace Community Garden is up and running and has several raised beds. We will explore the efficiency and cost-effective advantage of trickle irrigation systems in small raised-bed garden settings.
