Introduction to Permaculture
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 · 1–3 pm
VCE Greensville Office, 105 Oak Street, Emporia, VA
Permaculture is more than a new system of recordkeeping and urban agriculture. It is an ecological design system based on observations found in nature. Permaculture design is founded on replicating or imitating natural patterns in ecosystems because these solutions have evolved over thousands of years and proven effective. Patrick Johnson, of Nanih Farm and Garden, Inc., will lead this workshop. Learn about the key concepts surrounding the broader aspects of permaculture: care for people, care for the earth, and fair share.
Space is limited to 15 participants.
