How to Make Fish Fertilizer

Friday, September 20, 2024 · noon–1:30 pm

VSU Randolph Farm Pavilion, 4415 River Road, Petersburg, VA

Fish has been used as a plant fertilizer for hundreds of years. This farming technique was developed by indigenous people and is a great way to add many different macro and micronutrients into your soil. This workshop will demonstrate how to make fish hydrosylate and fish amino acids, which are quick and slow ways of making fish fertilizer. We will also discuss how and when to apply the fertilizers.

Space is limited to 30 participants.
