Beekeeping 101

A beginning beekeeping class is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in starting their journey into the world of beekeeping. This class with cover the basics of beekeeping, including the essential  equipment needed, bee biology, hive management, and seasonal care. Participants will learn techniques for safely handling bees maintaining hives and ensuring the health and productivity of a bee colony. They will also learn about the challenges involving hives; such as pest control, disease management, and honey harvesting. You will receive guidance from an experienced beekeeper and will gain confidence and knowledge needed to maintain their own beekeeping operation, whether for personal enjoyment, environmental contribution or honey production.
