Join the Balanced Living with Diabetes Program

If you or a loved one have Type 2 diabetes, join the Balanced Living with Diabetes program to take control of your health! This 6-week program will provide you with support to make healthier food choices, become more active, and manage your blood sugar levels effectively. Participants will receive a tote bag filled with helpful tools like cookbooks, stretch bands, step counters, and more to help set and achieve goals.

Classes are held at the VSU Douglas Wilder Demo Kitchen every Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., starting November 4, 2024. You’ll also enjoy a reunion session two months after the program to track your progress.
