Emergency Preparedness

Being prepared in an emergency is essential to surviving natural and man made disasters. Representatives from Chesterfield Emergency Management will explain what items are needed for emergency situations, including how to get a kit, make plans and stay informed. Crop and animal protection options during disasters will be reviewed by the Chesterfield environmental educator. Chesterfield County firefighters and first responders will also be available to share tips on how to prevent fires around the home and farmstead.
