Small Lot Forestry Management

Wednesday, December 18, 2024 • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Warrenton, VA

The general management of small tract of forest land is to set goals, create management zones and choose tree management/thinning(what plants are wanted and which aren't managing space). There are common invasive species of plants and they can be managed through setting zones and determining priority. Wildlife Management - There is diversity in wildlife areas and wildlife areas should be defined, created , and edges of habit should be managed. Privacy Buffers may be beneficial for the small lot forest and plant spacing maybe considered for best management practices.
