The Tennie Agriculture Group, LLC is a dedicated tax and accounting firm, specializing in providing financial solutions for farmers, ranchers, and veterans in agribusiness. We understand the unique challenges faced by the agricultural community and are committed to empowering producers with the tools and knowledge needed to build sustainability along with scalability and profitable operations. The Agribusiness Way workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of agriculture taxation, financial management, and recordkeeping, ultimately empowering them to build financially resilient and successful agricultural enterprises.

 

During this session, you will learn about the following topics:

●Understanding tax compliance for agribusiness operations and IRS Schedule F (Form 1040), Profit or

Loss from Farming

●Choosing the right entity structure for your agribusiness

●Financial literacy for farmers, ranchers and veterans

●Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) tax Information

 

A Limited English Proficiency (Spanish) interpreter will be available.  Lunch will be provided.
