Learn the essentials of starting your own vegetable garden! In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll walk you through the key steps: testing your soil, choosing a sunny, well-drained location, and planning your garden based on what your family enjoys and what grows well in your climate. You’ll learn how to plant seeds or seedlings with the proper spacing and care, and how to manage pests naturally.
We’ll also recommend easy-to-grow vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, squash, and herbs—perfect for getting started.
