Dr. Reza Rafie and Chris Mullins, horitculture specialists with Virginia Cooperative Extension at VSU, along with VSU’s Small Farm Outreach Agent Susan Cheek will discuss opportunities for using high tunnels to extend the growing season for profitable crops. Tour the high tunnels at Randolph Farm and learn more about:

• Starting seeds  

• Tips for extended season production

• Soil management, planting  

• High tunnel maintenance
