This farm tour is for those interested in starting or expanding a small diversified sustainable farm. Dennis and Sarah Williams, successful beginning farmers in their own right, will provide a tour which will includes:
* Pastured broilers, layers and turkeys
* Pastured and forest raised hogs
* Dairy and meat goat production
* Meat rabbits
* How to use cover crops to improve your pasture
* Silvopasture and rotational grazing techniques
* Goat dairy CSA and on-farm sales
* Non-GMO feed sales
* Farm risks and how they manage them
* How they market their products
* Business & Financial Management
