Farming/Gardening with Pollinators in Mind

Wednesday, February 9, 2022 • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Zoom Event

Attracting pollinators to your farm and garden is important since we need these bees, moths, birds, other insects, and animals to pollinate our flowers and plants in order to have an abundance of luscious flowers, veggies, and fruits. Seventy-five percent of all flowers require pollinators, including most fruits and vegetables. Join cut flower and vegetable farmers, Anita & Thomas Roberson, as they discuss the benefits of attracting pollinators, as well as some of the basic techniques they used to establish their pollinator garden. They will also discuss resources available to assist farmers to develop pollinator gardens.
