Farmers Fireside Gathering

Saturday, October 22, 2022 • 5:30 – 7:30 PM

Watauga Farm Stand, 25678 Watauga Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211

Established in 2014 and carved from overgrowth, Watauga Farm flourishes with fields that grow small fruits and vegetables, paddocks that graze livestock, and a farm stand that sells sundries. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the local forage farmers and see their unique compact hay equipment operation. Join us for a fall gathering by the campfire!

• Enjoy a hotdog dinner and roast s’mores.
• Discuss proper preparation for post-season harvest and farm-equipment storage tips.
• Enjoy the season and network with other Southwest VA farmers.
• Hot dog dinner will be provided: please bring a camp chair!

FREE · Space is limited to 20 participants
