Lambing & Kidding: Beyond the Basics

Calling all beginning and experienced sheep/goat producers…Join this session to gain valuable knowledge of best management practices for pre-lambing/kidding and post-lambing/kidding. This workshop includes a hands-on demonstration with a birthing model.  Additional topics include preventing lamb/kid loss, the importance of colostrum, strategies for troubleshooting when birthing complications occur, and diagnosing and treating newborn lamb/kid problems.  Dinner will be provided. Registration required by 10/25/24.
