Do You Have Prediabetes and Need to Make a Change? Don’t Do it Alone! Join the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
1 out of 3 American adults has prediabetes. If you have prediabetes, it’s time to take charge of your health. The Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) can help you make lasting changes to reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes. Enroll in the year-long DPP and get the support you need.
In the program you will receive:
A trained lifestyle coach to guide and encourage you
The skills you need to lose weight, be more physically active, and manage stress
Support from other participants with the same goals as you
Tips about healthy eating and increasing physical activity
The session is presented by Debra S. Jones, M.P.H., Human Health Specialist.
