Virginia Cooperative Extension is a state-wide organization that helps all citizens in the Commonwealth through research based education and training. Extension’s educational activities are delivered through Virginia State University and Virginia Tech as shared partners in this organization.
The faculty and staff at Virginia State University Cooperative Extension play a major role in providing educational programs and tools, expert advice and a wealth of dependable answers to enrich the lives, the land and the economy of Virginia’s individuals, families and communities. Activities such as field days, workshops, classes, youth camps, farm tours, webinars, consultation, publications and community development are all offered through our organization.

Virginia State University (VSU) College of Agriculture will host its 2nd annual AgFest Block Party on Tuesday, March 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at VSU Foster Hall on University Ave. The event is free and open to the community.
