Virginia Cooperative Extension is a state-wide organization that helps all citizens in the Commonwealth through research based education and training. Extension’s educational activities are delivered through Virginia State University and Virginia Tech as shared partners in this organization.
The faculty and staff at Virginia State University Cooperative Extension play a major role in providing educational programs and tools, expert advice and a wealth of dependable answers to enrich the lives, the land and the economy of Virginia’s limited-resource individuals, families and communities. Activities such as field days, workshops, classes, youth camps, farm tours, webinars, consultation, publications and community development are all offered through our organization.
